We made it - the BioCreative 2 Workshop here in Madrid is over and I think we can assume that we did a good job. Mainly, this can be attributed to Martin, one of my colleagues with whom I am working on biomedical text mining. A big thanks and gratz to him!
As I managed to hurt my ribs while playing inline street hockey, and still have pains 2 weeks later, I am happy to have 5 days of holidays ahead. And I promise I will not take my laptop, no papers, nor any other kind of work. Instead, I will be going to the south of Spain together with Gema, to a hotel close to the sea shore. Hopefully, I can have a swim in the Mediterranean sea and relax a whole lot! Also, maybe we can have a one-day-trip to Morocco, which will be close by. Well, lets see, I will report back asap!
